Danish Silversmiths
The Exhibition Group of November 1976

In 1976 a number of Danish silversmiths, young and old, formed a group "Danish Silversmiths. The Exhibition Group of November 1976". The declared aim of the group was to regenerate the art of the silversmith in Denmark, which was at risk of dying out completely.

Since then a new generation of silversmiths has joined the group. They share an affection for their craft and for silver as a medium of expression. As a group, they set high standards of quality for one another, both as regards the ability to design, and to practise the skills of their craft.
